Nodak Mutual Insurance Group has an opening for a Crop Insurance Adjuster in South Dakota. This individual is responsible for completing field inspections, reading maps and aerial photos, measuring fields and storage bins, and assessing crop damage or loss; and communicates regulations and interpretations to insureds and agents on crop and policy provisions. Successful candidates will have: • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college; 6+ months of crop adjusting and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Minimum 6+ months customer service or 6+ months agriculture related background, experience or agriculture related education. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong computer skills. • Excellent customer service skills. • Ability and willingness to travel within assigned territory as needed.
